Frontier treats Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), historically and popularly referred to as
UFOs, as a major cross-disciplinary research area spanning propulsion, inertia, field effects,

- Credible observations, instrumentation or physical evidence merit careful scientific investigation.
- Many reports are explained by conventional aircraft, atmospheric phenomena, astronomical objects,
  sensor effects or misidentification; others remain unresolved.
- Frontier makes no claim that UAP are extraterrestrial spacecraft, non-human technology or
  demonstrated advanced propulsion, and holds no UAP material or classified information.
- Reported characteristics such as extreme acceleration or transmedium movement are treated as
  unverified reports, not established facts.
- The stated position: "The appropriate response is neither belief nor disbelief. It is measurement,
  investigation and understanding."

## Scientific position

- Hypotheses must be falsifiable.
- Experiments must produce measurable results above noise.
- Unexpected results must survive scrutiny of systematic error.
- Extraordinary results must be independently replicated.
- Negative results and tighter bounds are published as valuable outcomes.
- No claim of anomalous physics is made or implied anywhere on this site.
